A little about us...
Each week riders come from throughout Santa Barbara County to interact with their 1,000 pound “therapist” in a safe and secure environment and achieve amazing goals. Our programs offer riders the opportunity to focus on what they can do, and the results are life changing. Our services are open to any person with special needs who can benefit from this therapeutic horsemanship.
Lessons consist of weekly classes during pre-defined sessions at our facility in Santa Barbara. Lessons are individually designed to suit each rider’s particular need, ability, stamina, and are consistent with predetermined goals that are established in conjunction with parents, teachers and caregivers.
Lesson Program:
Hearts provides group and private lessons, depending on the needs and preference of the rider. Group lessons will include students with similar abilities, goals, and experiences.
Students are enrolled at Hearts on an annual basis. Hearts provides 47 weeks of riding per year.
